THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

The is one of the classic pre-War Zenith designs. This set was designed by Robert Budlong, the most prolific Zenith designer of radios. This Budlong design is known to collectors as the "Darth Vader radio" for obvious reasons. It has an undamaged Bakelite case with black pushbuttons and caramel colored knobs. A boomerang-styled dial gives this set instant appeal. This six-tube chassis has been checked, and the set plays very well picking up all my local AM stations during the day, and many distant stations at night with an internal loop antenna. A Retro-Tronics replacement back is on the case. 12"W x 8"H x 7"D.
