This Zenith tabletop set is an icon of the Art Deco period. Designed by Robert Budlong, one of Zenith's most prolific design engineers, it is a classic must have in any radio collection. The radio has to its credit an appearance in one of MGM's "Babes in Arms" movies, staring Mickey Rooney & Judy Garland. This Franciscan brown set originally sold for $14.95. The case is in very nice condition, with no cracks, chips or hairline cracks. One scratch on the top. It has been checked by a pro and plays fine, but will need an extended antenna wire for best reception, as this model did not have a loop antenna. It has a nice Retro-Tronics replacement back on the set. About 10-1/2"W x 6-1/2"H x 7"D.
