THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

This is one of the classic pre-War Zenith designs. This set was designed by Robert Davol Budlong, Zenith's most prolific designer. This Budlong design is known to current generations as the "Darth Vader radio." An undamaged Bakelite case in its original ivory paint with just a few small paint chips. The original black knobs and black boomerang-styled dial contrasts with the ivory case, and gives this set instant appeal. This six-tube chassis has been checked, and the set plays very well picking up all my local AM stations during the day, and many distant stations at night with an internal loop antenna. A Retro-Tronics replacement back is in place. About 11"W x 7-1/2"H x 6-1/2"D.
