The 6-D-615 is one of the classic pre-War Zenith designs. This set was designed by Robert Davol Budlong, the most prolific Zenith designer. This Budlong design is known to current generations as the "Darth Vader radio." An undamaged Bakelite case with caramel colored pushbuttons and matching knobs. A boomerang-styled dial gives this set instant appeal. This six-tube chassis has been checked, and the set plays very well picking up all my local AM stations during the day, and many distant stations at night with an internal loop antenna. A Retro-Tronics replacement back in place. About 12"W x 8"H x 7"D.
