THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
A classic machine age designed radio from 1939. The case is in excellent condition. Other than one very minuscule hairline on the back left corner (1/8"), there is no other cosmetic damage, no chips or cracks. The radio is playing well, has been recapped, and is tuning in all my local AM stations clearly. It has a Retro-Tronics perfect replacement back. The pushbuttons on these sets usually are always badly deteriorated. These pushbuttons on this Sonora are perfect Larry Bordonaro replacements. When the radio is turned on, the dial light shines up through the large top dial, indicating the station position. No other radio was ever designed like this Sonora. About 10-1/2"W x 6-1/2"H x 6-1/2"D. |
