Arvin 422 (1941)
(metal tube table radio)

Arvin 422 (1941)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

My how things have changed...in 1941 Arvin called this lil' metal dickens; The Brown Midget. As in the line from Cool Hand Luke, "Not today, boy." This politically correct and beautiful original Arvin hi-gloss brown is still there and just as shiny as ever! Included, of course, is nearly 30' of antenna wire that is absolutely essential for pulling in those AM radio stations. Electronically reconditioned with new paper and electrolytic capacitors and out of tolerance resistors have been replaced. The four tubes are strong. Plays good! A Jim Dennis Scale of Beauty 10+ "Brown Bomber" Special! If you'd like additional pictures please let me know. 6-1/2"W x 5"H x 4"D.
