| You can call it brown, maroon or mahogany, but please, include Bakelite and beautiful in the descriptive! 'Cause that's what it is! Beee-U-t-full! I've never been able to pin down the Philco designer's intention when this beauty was on the drawing table before it hit the stores in '53! I do know I was in the 3rd grade and in love when I saw it for the first time! Anyway, the Philco has been electronically reconditioned with new paper and electrolytic capacitors and all out of tolerance resistors replaced. The five tubes are in great shape.
