Stewart Warner 9180-H (1954)
(Bakelite tube table radio)

Stewart Warner 9180-H (1954)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Somewhat of an obscure anomaly in the annals of Stewart Warner radio making lore, this is a four-tube model 9180-H in beautiful black/ebony Bakelite. The only black one I've ever seen. It looks just like the 9160 sans the fifth tube. Why a four tube model? Who knows what went on in the hearts and minds of the folks at S-W back when cars had fins! It has a installed 20-ft antenna for enhanced local radio station pick up. Electronically reconditioned with new paper and electrolytic capacitors and all out of tolerance resistors have been replaced. The four tubes are in great shape. A Jim Dennis Scale of Beauty 10 "Black Beauty" Special! If you'd like additional pictures please let me know. 8-3/4"W x 5-1/2"H x 5"D.
