| The fine folks at Philco way back in the day made about three or four versions of this wood AM/SW model. Each distinctive and displaying its own personality. This is my favorite version! It has been electronically reconditioned and aligned with new paper and electrolytic capacitors and all out of tolerance resistors were replaced. The cabinet has been refinished. Meanwhile, the speaker has been re-coned. It has a new dial scale, dial cover and new power cord. The six tubes are strong. It plays very well on AM and the SW gibberish . There is an external antenna connection, too! A Jim Dennis Scale of Beauty "Bionic Radio Special!" If you'd like additional pictures please let me know. 14"W x 12"H x 8"D. |
