(plastic tube portable radio)

Sentinel 1U-345P (1952)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Can you say, "shiny AC/DC Sentinel?" Well, according to Webster's Dictionary they say shiny means, "bright or glossy in appearance." It's both of those to be sure. It's like patent leather. There are a few minor nicks, but no breaks or cracks. There's very minor pitting on the brass handle holders. It's difficult to capture. Plays well on AC and needs a 4-1/2V "A" and 90V "B" battery to operate as a portable. Electronically reconditioned and aligned with new paper and electrolytic capacitors and out of tolerance resistors replaced. The four tubes are strong. A Jim Dennis Scale of Beauty "Spit Shine Special!" If you'd like additional pictures please let me know. 9-7/8"W x 7"H x 5"D.
