And, in this corner, wearing a very dark brown Bakelite swirled case, an AM/SW with a 6-1/2" speaker and weighing in at 12 pounds, the Los Angeles "Polyurethane-Finish Kid." The crowd erupts as you might expect because they've never seen this model Olympic radio before, let alone in a Polyurethane finish! This bad boy had, that is, had - two cracks; one on the left side and one on the bottom. Both have been repaired and the case polyurethane'd in a technique I've never seen before! The radio case is stronger now than the original! Electronically reconditioned, aligned with all old paper capacitors, electrolytics and all out of tolerance resistors replaced! The six tubes are strong with a new power cord added. The tube layout is on the inside of the case. A Jim Dennis "Scale of Beauty" Bronx Bomber Special!
