| What was once white is now black and, it's not painted! Okay, here is a slightly risqué and, I might add, a slightly denuded Sonora ebony Bakelite WAU-243. Yes, this magnificent specimen was once painted white. Why, I ask? Sacrilege, not at all! My original white version of this radio, although quite dramatic, was a mess! You know what I mean; paint chips, dings, scratches, etc., etc.; everything you find in a very old original white version. Plus, it didn't even play! Well, I do not repaint my radios especially when I know there's a brand new beautiful ebony surface underneath. This radio is exceptional! Here we have the perfect case in point. Absolutely gorgeous! Electronically reconditioned and the five tubes are strong. Plays as good as it looks! A Jim Dennis Scale of Beauty "Outta Court Settlement" Special!
