Sentinel 309W (1947)
(Bakelite tube table radio)

Sentinel 309W (1947)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

We've all read the heralded novel by Charlie Dickens, "A Tale of Two Cities." Jim Dennis is writing about this beautiful little brown Bakelite Sentinel radio and calling is A Tale of Two Nuts. The one nut is behind the on/off knob that secures the chassis to the Bakelite case and the other nut was the idiot who tightened it too tight back in the day and put an ever so slight hairline at that location. Unlike Two Cities - Two Nuts is non-fiction. Electronically reconditioned, aligned and resistors checked for tolerance. Plays good! Tubes are strong and the layout is in good shape on the bottom. A Jim Dennis Scale of Beauty "Mixed Nuts Special!" If you'd like additional pictures please let me know.
