DeWald JD-519 (1947)
(plastic tube table radio)

DeWald JD-519 (1947)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

DeWald made about a half dozen different models all looking pretty much the same sans knobs, station frequency numbers colors, etc. The JD version has another change: a 50C5 Power Amp tube, not a 50B5 that most other models had. One thing DeWald did get right - "JD" and, as in JD's "Scale of Beauty" this ivory plastic beauty is a keeper! It's been electronically reconditioned and I've added a little extra antenna for more sensitive reception. And, yes, all five tubes check out strong! If you'd like additional pictures please let me know. 9"W x 5-1/2"H x 5"D.
