Zenith L-622 Clock Radio (1953)
(Bakelite tube clock radio)

Zenith L-622 Clock Radio (1953)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

A statuesque model L-622 was one of the last Art-Deco step-down beauties that came out of Zenith in the fifties. This clock radio is a very dark chocolate brown Bakelite with matching Bakelite back cover! Incredible shine! Absolutely stunning! Of course, it's been gone over electronically and plays as good as it looks with the familiar quality Zenith sound. The six tubes are in good shape. The clock functions work like they are supposed with the "how-to" instructions clearly written on the bottom. The auto timer plug in the back for that morning coffee works, too! A beautiful radio that is off the 'ol Jim Dennis "Scale of Beauty!" If you'd like additional pics please let me know.
