| Here Pooky, you do the honors. Then, Pooky says, "Bless this boat and all who sail on her. I christen thee, 'The Flying WASP.'" - I mean, Flying Wedge, from Philco! If you know Caddy Shack, I'm sure she meant to say, "Flying Wedge!" Oh well, it's a beautiful natural wood with very distinctive grain all over. I am not sure what kind of wood it is, however. You can see it's in incredible condition! This Philco is original and has not been refinished. I especially love the maroon grille! It has been gone over electronically and plays well! The five tubes are strong and I have added a new power cord. A real classic and, a 10+ on the Jim Dennis "Scale of Beauty!" If you'd like additional pics please let me know. |
