| The Zenith 8-S-129 one of the most distinctive of the large "black dial" tombstones offered by Zenith Radio. This rare radio is not often offered for sale. The monstrous eight-tube super-het chassis plays through a very large eight-inch speaker. This deluxe model sports a dramatically large cabinet, which only makes the sound all the better. This radio has been nicely refinished. You can see the dramatic design that Zenith used with the various exotic veneers. The chassis has been completely restored and plays loud and clear all across the dial. This model offers the largest of the black dials, measuring a full eight inches across. The dial is lit with multiple light bulbs, offering a dramatic effect. There was every whistle and bell on this model including tone controls; so you not only get a great looking radio, but one to listen to and enjoy every day.
