This rare RCA 97-K was one of the best looking radios offered in the 1930's. RCA was determined to lead the radio industry with the best sounding radios in the highest quality cabinets available. RCA really "hit the mark" on this one. This rare radio came from the estate, of what I believe, must have been the original owner. I personal have not seen a more beautifully designed, ornate radio as this one. This amazing cabinet is in original condition and retains its beautiful natural shine. The radio sounds and plays great. I have completely restored the chassis (I have been restoring antique radios for 30 years). The radio features a bright tuning eye with AM and Shortwave bands. This set has great volume and warm tone delivered with a heavy duty 12-inch RCA speaker. This radio commands attention in whatever room it's placed in. Radios in this condition rarely come along. I can arrange affordable shipping with Greyhound or other shippers. Please ask for a shipping quote. I will also hold for pick up or offer personal delivery depending on your location.
