I am offering for sale this fantastic Zenith 12-U-158.This rare set has only been offered for sale one other time on the Radio Attic. It's the biggest black dial Zenith ever made and the next step down from the Stratosphere in the Zenith lineup. The massive chassis, used only in the 158 and 159, tunes Broadcast to 54 Mhz in four bands and has a room shaking 17 watts output from a 12-inch baffled speaker driven by a 6L6 push-pull output stage and a 6L6 driver. The set also features a tone fidelity switch and a sensitivity control. The cabinet is simply stunning with its top of the line burled walnut veneer, inlays, and original wooden knobs. It is totally restored electronically and has an Aux input added as well. I can arrange affordable shipping and hold for pick up or partial delivery depending on your location.
