THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
I am offering for sale this rare Blue Dial Zenith radio made in 1941. It one of the last production runs before WWII. This is an amazing radio that is in excellent original condition. The case has no chips or cracks. This Deco set was designed by Robert Budlong, a Zenith designer who was responsible for many of Zenith's classic radio designs. This eye catching blue dial face features the Zenith logo and AM and Shortwave bands. The foreign countries are marked on the dial. Very cool. It has the original "Z" knobs for on/off, band and tuning. The chassis is a strong performer with six tubes, and it has been electronically restored (all caps replaced, resistors and tubes check and replaced where necessary). Comes with one year warranty. This radio plays and sounds great on both bands. You won't find a nicer example of this radio. 12"W x 7"H x 6-1/2"D. |
