I am offering for sale this great looking Silvertone tombstone radio. This 1936 radio features a neatly designed Deco cabinet that is made with beautiful American walnut veneers. Manufactured late in the super-het era, this Silvertone employs all of the fine technology of the era. The radio is a solid six-tube radio, playing on Broadcast and Shortwave. One of the great features of this radio is the outstanding large 5-inch gold dial. The escutcheon and knobs are made out of Tenite plastic. The cabinet has been expertly restored and really looks fantastic (the photos don't do it justice!). It has been electronically restored with new paper and electrolytic capacitors with all out of tolerance resistors replaced and all six tubes test strong.
