THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
Here is a restored rare original model of Silvertone's debut at the 1935 World's Fair. It reminds me of the Empire State Building. Beautiful multicolored walnut and shape of of the cabinet make it a real beauty. All knobs are original wood. The lit dial is original as is the glass cover and brass dial bezel. Speaker cloth is the closest I could find to the original. A totally DECO beauty. Has seven tubes with a transformer power supply which gives it great reception and volume/tone quality through a reconed 6" electrodynamic speaker. Two bands--BDCST and SW (5.5-16.5MHZ). Just one great Deco radio by American craftsmen. View my Restoration Process for more information. 15"H x 15"W x 10"D |
