THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
This is one very original AM five tube superheterdyne. The solid walnut case with a walnut veneer front and cut heating slots on the nicely arched top make for a very attractive Deco Philco. The chassis even has the original heat deflector plates, excellent original power cord, and original metal backing plate. I don't think this radio was used much at all. The chassis is like new and contains the original components. All components have been tested and a complete alignment was performed. Reception is great using just a supplied length of wire for the antenna. Tuning is done using a vernier bearing type adjustment control allowing very selective tuning. Dial is also lit. Exhibits its original speaker cloth also which is in great condition. The case has been restored to its original beauty. Just one very nice Deco Philco. Click on my Restoration Process for more information. 12"W x 9"H x 5"D. |
