Skyrover 777 (1935)
(wood tube tombstone radio w/SW)

Skyrover 777 (1935)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Skyrover was a trade name by a company called Warwick Mfg. of Rhode Island. This model was made for Good Year under the Good Year "Wings." The cabinet is way Deco with a stunning motif for the grille. The cabinet is made of American walnut with a delicate banding of either side of the cabinet as a highlight. The radio sports a brightly lit port hole dial of the era and the radio was intended a triple band model which still offers both am and shortwave. The radio has been refinished by a previous collector, and is fine shape showing the slightest distress of the shrinkage of the wood for the 85+ year. The speaker cloth is an accurate reproduction and the radio has Bakelite knobs in a rose petal form. The radio is a seven-tube super-het chassis. The radio sings offering a full range tone control to allow your adjustment to content type and taste. The radio has a fine cloth cover power cord and Bakelite plug for your everyday use and safety. My tech added a mini-jack, allowing you to connect the radio to any modern device. You can now listen to any content of your choice. Stream wirelessly using our Bluetooth adapter for only $25.00 additional! 16-1/2"H x 15-3/4"W x 12"D.
