Here is a really unique and wild radio. The shape is in the middle 1930's rage of skyscraper. The cabinet is an exotic blend woods with a dramatic styling. Add a bright chrome grille in nearly perfect condition with only a couple of dings. In fifty years of collecting, I have never seen anything like it before. The condition is original with period correct replacement. The combinations of veneers look to be maple and dramatically detailed with trim. Add the stunning metal inset radio knobs, the perfect embellishment. The black lacquer trim is the perfect offset. The radio chassis is a standard six-tube version with AVC (automatic volume control). The electronics have been completely updated professionally by my technician and returned to perfect operation.
