This is one of the finest models ever produced by this Ann Arbor, MI factory I have seen. The radio is spectacularly constructed using American walnut with a book matched veneered top. The sheer size of the radio is very impressive along with the dramatically detailed slide rule dial with clear markings of clear channel and foreign stations identified. I believe everything is factory original: finish, speaker cloth and knobs. The radio is a powerhouse with a high eight-tube chassis offering both AM and Shortwave. Les has completed his professional repairs and the sheer power of the high tube count makes the radio a listening pleasure. The chassis has a tone control which allows an tailoring of the sound tone.
