You are looking at a highly styled and beautifully made Atwater Kent. This is a powerful five-tube super-het offering both AM and Shortwave. The radio, although not a monster in size, offers a terrific level of sound through a unusually large 8-inch speaker commonly found only in the largest radios. All is original on this example. The finish is very good for the age and the only wear is in the metal trims, due to plating loss. This did not deter me from buying this radio as I knew the set is a terrific player. Les has completed his professional repairs and true to form, this is a super player as you would expect from a premier maker of this era. Les has added a mini-jack allowing your connection of any modern device and offering the ability of playing any content of your choice. Your phone, pad, satellite or computer connection will offer crystal clear and big room sound. 16"H x 12"W x 9"D.
