THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
Silvertone radios were made by many different factories for Sears. The breadth of the line was dramatic and the set before you was on the top of their selection. The advanced seven-tube super-het offered a highly sensitive green eye tube along with an advanced squelch and tone control. Note they "borrowed" the dual watch dial pointer configuration from Zenith. The radio has been nicely refinished and retains the factory installed speaker cloth and wood knobs. Note there is one tiny veneer patch in the lowest right side bottom corner so see photo #4. Les has done a fantastic job with his repairs and this plays like a deluxe model. He added a mini-jack to the radio allowing you an unlimited choice of content with an external device. 18"H x 15"W x 12"D. |
