THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
Knight Radio was a retail cataloger of fine radios from Chicago. They sourced from some of the finest of American factories. This model was made for them by Admiral, using a seven-tube super-het chassis playing on both AM and Shortwave. This is a special radio as it sports a massive convex dial measuring and enormous 9-1/4" wide and 7-1/4" high. The bubble is what caused the reflections in my photos. Les has done an super job with his repairs and the green tuning eye is a brand new tube, winking as you tune from station to station. The finish, speaker cloth and propriety knobs are all factory original to the set. These are uncommon radios and are a rare set to find, especially in this condition. Les has added a mini-jack so you can plug your modern electrical device into the radio and enjoy an unlimited choice of content. 21"H x 15"W x 13-1/2"D. |
