THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
Here is one of the most unique radios I have seen. Styled as a console or jukebox in form, the cabinet has a tremendously ornate combination of trims and veneers. The cabinet has been refinished, with a high luster "piano" lacquered finish. The condition is striking, with only a minimal amount of loss in one area of the top. The radio is a five-tube super-het chassis playing on both AM and Shortwave. There is a slight hairline to the back lit multi colored 4-1/2" dial, which changes as you flip between the bands. The speaker cloth and knobs are originals. Les has done his usual exacting and complete professional repairs and the radio plays well. He added a mini-jack which allows you to add an external source for unlimited choices of content. This is a very special radio! 17"H x 15"W x 9-1/2"D. |
