Knight Radio was a better retailer and catalog company from Chicago, Illinois. They did not manufacture these radios but contracted from the scores of factories who produced for many other labels. This happens to be a good radio. The set contains a seven tube chassis playing on both Broadcast and Shortwave. As you can see, my tech has installed a brand new tuning eye, which shows great sensitivity as you change the radio stations. His repairs were very complete and the radio plays great. I believe the cabinet has been refinished somewhere in the past, and the work is excellent. I noted how nice the lacquer finish is, and very even. The speaker cloth and knobs appear to be original. Overall, this is a very nice Deco styled radio with excellent performance. 17"W x 11"H x 9"D.
