THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
This is a pristine example from a very obscure high end factory. The research has led me to a Chicago based factory called Electronic Research Labs. They marketed in the 1920's under the name of Erla, not to confused with the Lafayette brand name of the same spelling. The factory later became the production facility for Sentinel Radios in 1935. This early "Grand Cathedral" is a powerful six-tube TRF receiver. The radio is in fine factory condition, with the factory finish and parts. The radio was super clean and my tech found the restoration a easy one. He has returned all of the components to factory new levels, aligned the tuner and provided a new silk reproduction power cord and plug for your safe regular use. The radio is as impressive of a player as well of the stunning cabinet. 17-1/2"H x 15-3/4"W x 11"D. |
