Balkeit Radio was a very small and high quality make based in Chicago. They made some super sets and had quite a reputation for the ornate and stunning floor models. These radios were extremely well made, inside and out. This is a fine original example of their best four-tube cathedral. The condition of this example is terrific and I believe all original. The radio has been completely serviced and plays extremely well for a compact set. Note the quality restoration, with a fine silk cord and Bakelite plug added for your safe operation 13-1/4"H x 10-1/4"W x 8"D.
