Simplex D8 Tombstone (1936)
(wood tube tombstone radio)

Simplex D8 Tombstone (1936)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Simplex Radios are rather scarce. The factory was located in Sandusky, Ohio, and they made a very good radio. This is a great example with cabinet super veneer exterior and a solid performing five-tube super-het. The radio has a very bright dial; the large dial with the globe motif is a hallmark of the brand. The radio has been completely restored by my technician, with new filters and caps, tuner alignment, and a new power cord and plug. This terrific set will become your favorite. 14-3/4"H x 11-3/4"W x 8"D.
