Silvertone was the famous house brand of Sears. They bought from every major maker of radios, and any number of contract factories. This is a high-end model, clearly from a better factory. The radio has a beautiful cabinet in fine original condition. The radio displays with the elaborate over-sized dial, which lights in a dramatic way in a darkened room. The radio was completely restored by my technician. The caps and filters were replaced, tuner aligned and a replacement power cord and plug added. The radio is a super-het and plays beautifully! 14-1/2"W x 12"H x 8-1/4"D.
