THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
If you are a collector of high tube count, high-grade tombstones for the late 1930s, this radio is for you. The radio is really a deluxe model from the fine maker, made in Springfield, Massachusetts. The factory was well known for the top product that they produced. Look at the fine cabinetwork with fancy veneers and elaborate beading. The quality screams! The chassis is a three-band model employing eight tubes. This T-15 chassis even sported a shadowgraph fine tuning device. My technician has given this radio the extra efforts the radio deserved. The sound form the large over-sized cabinet is fantastic. He has replaced all of the filters, and caps. All functions work as they should, and he has added a fine silk reproduction power cord and plug for your safety. The finish is original, and very good. There is a minor issue on the front right corner, which is so minor I could not capture it in my photos. Imposing at 22"H x 16-1/2"W x 11"D. |
