THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
You are looking at a scarce and highly ornate "grand cathedral" radio from the early 1930's. The radio is stunning and large. This radio has a side switch for local and distance listening, making it a more effective receiver. Note the ornate artisanship in the elaborate use of multiple veneers. The set looks to have an American Walnut color, but I think the interior areas by the dials and knobs might be birds-eye maple. I have included and extra photo for your inspection. My technician has done a terrific job in returning the electronic performance to factory fresh levels. The filters are all brand-new and every cap too. He has aligned the tuner, and provided a safe power cord and plug. Enjoy the detail of this set, all the way to the floral knobs and I think you agree on the beauty of this set. 19-1/2"H x 16"W x 12"D. |
