Here is a Philco classic. This is a very nice example of the terrific "Grand Cathedrals" that made Philco radios such classics. The beautiful red mahogany cabinet is detailed with a beautiful burl crown over the arch. The offsetting color and wood graining make the radio look all the more expensive. This is a very nice example, showing some limited wear for its nearly 80 years. This radio has seen a complete restoration by the attentions of a terrific technician. The filters and caps have been totally replaced and every other component and tubes, tested for factory new values. Lastly, the radio has a brand new power cord and plug for your safety. The radio is a larger set, thus earning the designation of "Grand." With such a large case and speaker, you know that you will have a sweet room full of sound. 18"H x 16"W x 11"D.
