You are looking at one of the most distinctive wood radios made in the 1940s. The radio is from the famed Canadian maker, Addison. These are most prized by collectors for the hugely architectural influences that radio process. The radio looks like a deco/art Nuevo building. The radio is a five tube super het, and it has seen the thorough restoration by my technician. The radio has all new filters and caps. All of the other elements have been tested and meet or exceed the new factory values. Completing the restoration is a new power cord and plug. The radio plays like new and should for many years to come. 13"W x 10"H x 8-1/2"D. |
