THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
Here is a rather unknown table radio from the mid 1930s. Pathe was a very fine maker of phonographs and radios in France, and their U.S. arm, which produced in New York city, made this. You can see the classic good looks, with the detailed metal grille and copper-tone speaker cloth. The dial is original and is a fashionable "watch dial" styled shape. The cabinet is covered in a pebble styled leatherette cover. Unlike most radios of this vintage, the covering is in like new condition. The set has aged wonderfully! My technician has restored the radio and it is a solid player for a five tube set of this vintage. The radio should offer you years of very good and reliable service.
You will love the condition of this pristine jewel! 9"W x 7-1/2"H x 6"D. |
