Stewart-Warner 1107 Tombstone (1934)
(wood tube tombstone radio)

Stewart-Warner 1107 Tombstone (1934)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

If you are a collector of these prime large tombstones from the 1930s, this radio is worth the look! This was one of the highest quality radios of the era. Stewart Warner was a much higher quality maker and the artistry inside and out documents the efforts. This is a ten tube set, which only makes it a choice set. The radio is a fantastic player, great sound, and selectivity. The radio has been completely restored by my technician, with all new filters and caps, tubes are all great, and a perfect silk line cord and replacement Bakelite plug. The radio is a large one, to accommodate the large chassis. The finish is very nice and original, as are the speaker cloth and the knobs. There is one area for finish loss, on the right side, but minor in nature. This was one of the finest radios of this era that money could buy, and these high count receivers are tough to find! 17-1/2"H x 16"W x 13"D.
