Climax Radio was a high end factory based in Chicago, in the early to mid 1930s. They made some of the most advanced and styled cabinets of any company in America. This is the Conquistador, a very high styled table radio. The radio has seen a very complete electronic restoration and plays nicely. The finish appears to be factory, as all other parts. The cord and plug are replacements for safety. This was a two band set, with the band select on the back of the chassis. The famous globe dial lights up wonderfully, and makes the set all the more interesting. Climax radios are not often seen, and hardly ever offered for sale; so here is your chance to add a really great radio to your collection! 11-1/2"W x 8-1/2"H x 6-1/2"D.
