THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
Here's a rather quaint 1940's AM radio that was part of their lower budget line and hence weren't treated very well. This wood case has avoided the usual abuse with original factory decals, original finish and near mint cardboard back. The decals, prone to scratching and flaking, are in excellent condition. The reverse painted glass dial is sharp, the grille cloth in great shape and it retains the back cover with built-in loop antenna. The radio plays well with sensitivity and selection, picking up stations across the dial. New modern capacitors have been installed, tubes have been tested and replaced as required and the chassis has been cleaned. The original power cord is in good condition. |
