THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
A beautiful EMUD as cherry as a 53 year old radio gets. EMUD stands for Ernst Mastling Ulm/Donau, who produced radios from 1923-1972. It has three bands, three speakers and seven tubes. Bands are AM 515-1600, FM 88-108 and SW 30-50m. There are inputs for Phono and Tape that will also except any high level source such as a CD player. It has a large woofer with two side mounted tweeters for very good sound. Tone controls are Bass and Treble. There are separate tuners for AM/SW and FM with their own pointers. The perfect glass scale lists cities from around the world plus the unusual AFN (American Forces Network) designations. The cabinet is in beautiful high gloss, original, near mint condition. The main wood case is a dark Mahogany with light stained wood trim on the front. The grille cloth is original. The back is as new and lists the tubes in both European and US numbers. Original schematic is still inside. A beautiful radio you'll be proud to display and use. 21"W x 12-1/2"H x 10"D. |
