Another very nice Gavotte. The model 8 was the fourth year of Gavotte production. This is an Export model with AM, FM to 108, SW and Special. It has three speakers a woofer and two side mounted tweeters. The tone controls are Bass, Solo, Soft and Jazz. It features broadband tuning for the SW band. All writing is in English. Radio has been serviced with caps and tubes replaced as needed. It plays very well on all bands with very good sound. The cabinet has some grazing on top in its original "flame" finish. The back and grille are original and very good. Radio comes with its original owners manual and schematic. 18"W x 12"H x 7-1/2"D.
