THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
The GEM series was introduced by Sonora in 1941. They came in three different colors, this being, in my opinion, the most attractive. Internet story says this is a model KF123. More info on internet. This is a two piece cabinet and has the All American Five tube lineup. Radio shell is close to mint only with most minor of age glitches to be expected. The chassis has been serviced, recapped and plays with antenna (these needed a long antenna). New period correct AC cord was installed. I believe this to be one of the finest examples to be found of this very rare and attractive radio. Sold as described, no warranty implied due to age but won't arrive not playing. Shipping is flat $20.00 for careful pack and insurance. A small radio at 7-3/4"W x 5"H x 4"D. |
