Philco 49-1405

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

Fully restored historic radio/phonograph from Philco. This was one of the first 33-1/3 "Long play" record players. It has twin tone arms, one for 78's, and one for 33's. The 78 side is a working changer, the other is single play. LP's were introduced in 1948, and Philco helped develop the technology. Beautiful mahogany wood, solid steel mechanism, new cartridges. Good sound from a larger than typical speaker.
