Airline 62-475 Teledial (1938)

THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD!

The cabinet on this pre-war radio from Wards surrounds the chassis. That means you can place it on a center island in the kitchen and not have to look at those awful electronics! There are two repaired cracks that can be seen along the bottom edge of the radio's back side, otherwise the cabinet is smooth, like milk chocolate. The main appeal of the radio is the telephone station dial, which lights up completely when turned on, and glows with an orange light. It sounds good, and pulls in stations well with a short wire antenna. A longer wire can be clipped on for long distance listening.
