This nice black and gold Royal 450 table/portable transistor radio from Zenith was their first table/portable radio. The seven-transistor chassis is powered by six "AA" batteries. The Royal 450 is a scarce model that was offered in white, orange, and black like this one. They almost always have suffered some damage to their cabinet from being knocked over but this one is damage free, just normal wear and is in great overall condition. The chassis is clean and playing strong. Nice radio. 6-1/2"W x 4-1/4"H x 2-1/4"D; weighs over 24 ounces.
