THIS RADIO HAS BEEN SOLD! |
In 1958, Zenith introduced two clock radios: the Royal 950 "Golden Triangle" and this Royal 850. This attractive set is a scarce model. It has a Royal 200 chassis for the radio and a four jewel imported clock that runs on a single "D" battery for up to a year. This cordless table/clock radio made it possible to wake to music anywhere. This is a scarce model in great cosmetic condition, and being pink makes it very desirable to collectors. This radio is as clean and damage-free as I have seen in this model. It has no chips or cracks or damage to the cabinet. Performance: The radio plays well but the clock does not work (even though the battery holder is clean). Weight 2 pounds, 6 ounces; 10-3/4"W x 5"H x 3"D. |
